Janice Oliver-Iraci founded Kaleidoschool based on the principle that all children learned in different ways - not just left brain or right brain.  Her decades of teaching experience and her professional studies in education have given her insight about learning.  Janice applies the theories from her Master's degree in Education and her certificate in Waldorf foundational studies to every child she meets.  They are ALL important to her.  Mrs. Oliver-Iraci has taught reading in English as well as foreign language.  She has taught math both in a self contained classroom and as an intervention several times.  You will often find her talking to her students about how math is magical!  Janice brings song, nature and art to her instruction, and the children flourish for it.  She has raised several children of her own, all grown now, but she is familiar with the needs that arise when families are dealing with mental health conditions, such as ADHD.  In her, you will find an empathetic educator.

Teaching has been Robin's passion since she was little. From playing pretend teaching in her mother's class to eventually teaching her own class.

She has an Associate degree in sociology, Bachelor in Arts degree in Liberal Studies, Multiple
Subject Teaching Credential with CLAD,6-9 year old Montessori Credential, and a Master's in
Holistic Nutrition. She plans to get an administrative credential and Master in Education.

Robin has taught 18 years in education and during that time she found teaching outdoors as an
important tool in learning. She became interested in the idea of a nature based educational hub after seeing how excited her students were on school outdoor field trips. Mrs. Choi saw how much calmer the demeanor of children were after outside time. She noticed that students learned teamwork, social skills, and critical thinking skills outside. Robin has experience leading students on nature hikes, outside adventures, garden clubs and mentoring students in self-directed outdoor play. She loves hiking, camping, gardening, and traveling with her family.

MarinaDiosdado-Corral.jpg

Marina has been working with at-risk youth for over 5 years now. Her passion comes as a result of a research project completed during her work at Sac State, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Science.  Marina was appalled by the lack of resources to be found for vulnerable students and their families. Furthermore she noticed many children’s needs were not being met. This led to her continuous work in public charter schools in the greater Sacramento area.

Her work since her degree has continued her involvement in changing the learning environments and communities one day at a time. She has held positions as an Intervention Instructor, Afterschool Instructor and Substitute Teacher in areas of great need.

Originally from Mexico, Marina is no stranger to struggles, and working with children is no easy task; she believes it truly takes a village. A hard working individual who will continue to work for the students, the betterment of education in general, for the success of all scholars equally - this is Marina Diosdado-Corral.
